San Bruno, CA (September 20, 2005) – VREO, Inc., 2004's Inman Innovator Award winner for real estate software, has released version 2.0 of its groundbreaking Real Estate Dashboard electronic signature and document management software. Dashboard is optimized for use on the REDtablet, a tablet PC configured specifically for the real estate industry, but will run on any tablet PC hardware. Major features of Real Estate Dashboard include:

  1. Easy e-signatures. Dashboard simplifies the process of capturing e-signatures on a tablet PC, replicating the pen and paper experience for REALTORS and their clients. Dashboard provides a more viable real estate e-signature solution than confusing algorithm or "key" – based solutions that have struggled to achieve adoption in the industry.
  2. Paperless document management. Once signed, transaction documents and forms can be electronically faxed or emailed directly from Dashboard. Faxes may be received into Dashboard as well. All documents and forms imported into Dashboard are automatically and continuously backed-up and synchronized to an online vault. Dashboard users may set permissions to files and folders to grant clients and service providers access to specific documents at any time. Brokers and managers may also review documents in agents' vaults, thus simplifying and standardizing the process of review.
  3. Built for the Tablet PC. The Dashboard is optimized for VREO's REDtablet, a tablet PC configured specifically for the real estate industry The REDtablet runs Windows XP professional and Microsoft Office, has the computing power of a standard laptop or desktop, but offers a huge advantage: in addition to using a keyboard you can write on the screen using a digital pen.
